Residential Course

Each year, usually in the Spring, the Scheme runs a two day residential course locally.  

The course begins with an informal meeting and then some light group activities.   Subsequent sessions can involve the use of professional actors who assist with role plays during the course.      The actors are particularly used in sessions looking at consultation and communications skills where they take on the role of the patient.

On the first evening there is a course dinner and overall the course is designed to allow Trainers and Trainees to get to know one another in an informal setting, as well as building on the work done in the formal sessions.
